In solid alkali, Caustic Soda Flakes and Caustic Soda Pearls are the most common and widely used types of solid alkali. Caustic Soda Pearls is generally considered to be more advantageous than CSF, but its production process is more difficult and complex, leading to a higher price compared to CSF.
Caustic soda is primarily used as a chemical raw material and is an important basic material in the chemical industry with a wide range of applications. It is used in the manufacture of formic acid, oxalic acid, borax, phenol, sodium cyanide, soaps, synthetic fatty acids, synthetic detergents, and more. In the textile printing and dyeing industry, it is used as a scouring agent, boiling agent, silk finishing agent, solvent for vat dyes, and solvent for indigo blue dyes. In the metallurgical industry, it is used to produce aluminum hydroxide, aluminum oxide, and metal surface treatment agents.
